Tennis has grown to become one of the most-watched sports of late but where can you catch live tennis streaming?

A game that should have been called – A Gentleman’s Game (not cricket), Tennis has been thriving for centuries.

The sport gained traction particularly in the 90s when Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi were at the peak of their powers.

However, their domination was nothing when compared to what was to come in the 21st century.

Three other-worldly men(or four) took centre stage and began winning each and every tournament possible.

The Big Three as their referred to, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic brought in viewers 10 folds the normal amount.

They are the reason why the sport has reached even the remotest corners of the world. Since, 2003 the trio have managed to win 59 of the total 71 Grand Slam titles, until the French Open 2021. Such has been the sheer magnitude of their domination.

With the sport’s popularity at its peak, a lot of viewers will have the need to catch live action on the go, due to their busy schedules. There are several sites that provide authentic live streaming and some provide them free (stream) as well.

Tennis TV

One of the OGs in the game. Tennis TV has been in the streaming scene for quite a long time. Their second-level domain name (tennis) alone is an indication of how long they have been in the scene.

The website, as well as the app and YouTube channel, have numerous free-to-watch videos. However, in order to watch live coverage, one must pay for a subscription. It costs $14.99 per month and annual subscription costs $119.99 dollars.

Their app is available in both Android and App Store, and their services are available across several TVs – Apple TV, Samsung TV and is also available on PlayStation 4 and onwards.

The only drawback is that Tennis TV does not stream Wimbledon, or as a matter of fact any other Grand Slam viz. French Open, Australian Open, and the US Open.

YouTube

All four major Grand Slams have their own YouTube channels. There is a boatload of videos across these YouTube channels. And right after the conclusion of a match, highlights are uploaded to their respective channels.

All the tennis action from the Grand Slams can be streamed at your convenience, and the most important bit is that the tennis stream action is free.

However, the only major drawback is that these channels do not show any live-action. But Wimbledon has upped the ante of late.

During 2021 Wimbledon, the Grand Slam’s official YouTube channel has been showing live streaming, albeit of less important matches.

ESPN

ESPN has made rapid strides when it comes to sports streaming. They are one of the most popular sports streaming networks in the world.

With the advent of ESPN+, their streaming game has grown in leaps and bounds. ESPN+ does offer live tennis. Besides that, they also provide exclusive coverage, special highlights of all the tennis matches.

The subscription costs around $6 a month. The only drawback with ESPN+ is that it is not available in several countries. Their geographic distribution has been quite sub-par. Once rectified they might even become a monopoly.

Live Tennis Online

One of the lesser-known streaming sites, Live Tennis Online gets the job done. The website provides streaming of literally all the recognized ATP tennis tournaments and major grand slams.

All the user needs is to pay a small subscription fee which differs from country to country. Additionally, the site will request the user to install an external software to stream the live-action.

Once these are done, the user is good to go. Don’t be fooled by the basic display interface of the website.

Sling Network

Founded only in 2015, Sling Network has made rapid strides in the world of sports streaming. The network usually pools a group of streaming services and provides them at a lower cost.

The subscription costs are not high as well. It ranges from $20 to $40 a year. The network provides access to several big names like Fox Sports, ESPN and many other channels.

Sling TV does provide a free trial, so you can test out some free tennis streaming before taking a decision on paying for the complete package.
