Here is our selection of the Best Fire Type Pokemon available in the game. These fiery demons will melt your opponent!

Fire-type Pokemon are among the most well-known in the franchise, having widespread representation and a reputation for being among the most powerful. The Fire-type starter has been a popular choice among fledgling young trainers ready to begin their Pokemon journey since the days of Charmander. There have been a lot of powerful non-starters that have influenced how fans feel about these red-hot Pokemon.

Fire-types are well-represented in the Pokemon universe, whether as starters, legendaries, or everything in between. The finest Fire-types are able to work around the flaws in some way, which is why they’re so popular with fans. There may be a lot of Fire Type pokemon available for trainers, but these will always be the best ones available.

Best Fire Type Pokemon

10. Infernape

Because of its Fire/ Fighting-type, Infernape has long been a fan favorite. This cheeky monkey possesses an excellent combination of offensive stats, allowing it to punish squishy pokemon and even batter tankier opponents. Nasty Plot can boost its Speed stat (108) even further, which might be handy if your opponent has a lot of fast creatures on their side. Meanwhile, attacks like Focus Blast have a 10% chance of lowering the enemy’s resistance, making it especially effective against trainers that use defensive strategies.

Cinderace
Cinderace

9. Cinderace

Cinderace is a Fire/ Fighting-type Pokemon that is still very popular in ranked battles. Its high Attack (116) and blisteringly quick Speed (119) stats account for this. It’s crucial to be able to dish out rapid damage with Sucker Punch’s high-power attacks, then quickly switch out with U-turn. The scorching hot bunny also has good defensive stats, allowing it to take a hit before being knocked out. Cinderace’s Libero ability also allows it to change its type depending on which move it is about to use, making it exceptionally difficult to deal with.

Entei
Entei

8. Entei

Entei is claimed to be born whenever a new volcano appears, making it one of the legendary Pokémon with the best lore. Its fire is hotter than magma, and legend has it that anytime it roars, a volcano somewhere on the earth erupts. Entei, together with its siblings Suicune and Raikou, is supposed to represent the three events that led to the destruction of the Brass Tower: Raikou represents the thunder that struck the tower, Entei represents the fire that burned it, and Suicune represents the rain and winds that finally put it out. Furthermore, their trio master, Ho-Oh, is said to have resurrected them from the ashes, and a popular myth claims that they were once Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon, respectively.

Blaziken
Blaziken

7. Blaziken

Blaziken, the first Fire and Fighting-type starter, is one of the few starter Pokemon to ever be regarded as powerful as a legendary in unofficial competitive circles. The Gen III starter is a fantastic mixed attacker with some amazing offensive moves, but that’s not the only thing that makes it such a strong Fire-type Pokemon. Because the release of its hidden ability, Speed Boost, allows it to acquire 50% more Speed at the end of each turn, you may simply use Protect to give it a boost before the battle begins. When combined with some excellent offensive stats or items like the Focus Sash, which allows it to endure attacks while at full health, it transforms into an aggressive fighter who is deceptively difficult to defeat.

 Charizard
Charizard

6.  Charizard

Charizard, the original badass Fire-type, is still one of Pokémon’s most popular creatures twenty-five years later. Fans have long claimed that Charizard, a dual-type Fire/Flying Pokemon, should have been given a different typing. Charizard eventually evolved into a dragon in Generation VI, thanks to the introduction of Mega Evolution (but only its X version). Charizard is a good Pokémon, yet it has a four-fold weakness to the common Rock-type. Despite this, the fearsome beast’s reputation and popularity have endured to this day, thanks in large part to Ash’s Charizard’s strong and memorable performance in the anime.

Arcanine
Arcanine

5. Arcanine

Arcanine is one of Generation I’s greatest designs, a Pokémon so powerful and majestic that many people mistake it for a Legendary, or at the very least a Pseudo-Legendary. It appears next to the Kanto Legendary Birds in etching on the Pokémon Center in the anime’s second episode, indicating that it was intended to be a Legendary Pokémon. Unfortunately, Arcanine isn’t a Legendary, but it doesn’t make it any less awesome. Arcanine is a fiercely loyal Pokémon that draws inspiration from various fiery dogs and lions from East Asian folklore, such as the Xiezhi and the Ryukyuan. Anyone who hears its bark is believed to bow down before it.

Ho-Oh
Ho-Oh

4. Ho-Oh

The Rainbow Pokemon, which debuted in Pokemon Gold and Silver as the box mascot, was largely regarded as the best Fire-type legendary Pokemon for several generations. Unique moves like Ancient Power and Zap Cannon, in addition to the former signature move Sacred Fire, helped it stand out from other Fire and Flying-types like Charizard and Moltres. It has a major flaw when it comes to Rock-style movements. Thankfully, most competitive Rock-type moves, such as Stone Edge and Rock Slide, are very inaccurate, so you’re still likely to survive if they try to exploit Ho-Oh’s weakness.

Reshiram
Reshiram

3. Reshiram

Reshiram is a Dragon/Fire-type Legendary that was first introduced in Generation V and stands out for a variety of reasons. The legendary Pokemon Reshiram doesn’t have many flaws in its design, with its base stats totaling an impressive 680. Except for its 90 speed, Reshiram’s base stats are all at least 100. Reshiram will always be the best Fire-type in the game, regardless of how players choose to train it. Its iconic Blue Flare and Fusion Flare make excellent use of its 150 base special attack, providing additional STAB in addition to several other devastating attacks.

Moltres
Moltres

2. Moltres

Moltres, a Legendary dual Flying/ Fire-type Pokémon, possesses a monstrous 125 Special Attack stat, allowing it to easily melt through its opponents. Inflicting burn on enemies is also very useful, especially if you’re trying to get rid of any squishy damage dealers on the field. If the threat of Scorching Sands wasn’t severe enough, Moltres’ ability to heal itself and remove hazards from the field with Roost is extremely powerful.

Primal Groudon
Primal Groudon

1. Primal Groudon

This legendary Fire-type Pokemon has the greatest base stats of any Fire-type Pokemon, with a total of 770. Groudon’s formidable attack (180), high Sp. Atk (150), and solid defense (160) stats allow it to sweep even the most powerful teams. Groudon remains a top choice for players aiming to sweep their opponent’s entire team due to this potent combo. If that wasn’t enough, the Legendary’s Ground/ Fire-type allows it to learn powerful moves like Stone Edge and Aerial Ace. Meanwhile, Sword Dance boosts ensure that Groudon’s hallmark move, Precipice Blades, hits super hard.

This was our list of the Best Fire Type Pokemon of All Time. This selection was based on personal opinion and can change when more pokemon are released.
