We are already in the half year and trust me the best is yet to come. Let’s have a look at the 5 best upcoming movies and Web-Series on Netflix

1. The Gray Man 

This upcoming Netflix movie has already lit up the eyes of the fans with the cast it has got. From Ryan Gosling to a rare villain role played by Chris Evans. It also features Indian actor Dhanush.

It will be the biggest original film ever least in terms of its budget which is a whopping $200 million. The movie itself stars Ryan Gosling as Court Gentry, a CIA assassin who uncovers some secrets he wasn’t supposed to see. As a result, he goes on the run, hunted by another CIA hit man, played (in a rare villain role) by Chris Evans. The film, also stars Ana de Armas, Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page and Billy Bob Thorton.

The Gray Man is directed by legendary duo Avengers Infinity War/Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo and written by Joe Russo and their Avengers collaborators Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It will be released in limited movie theatres on July 15 and drops on July 22 on Netflix. 

2. Delhi Crime – Season 2 

The first season of this thriller show claimed a lot of love and critical acclamation as well because of the cast’s stellar acting performances. Delhi Crime season 1 was set in the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi gang rape.

This much-loved violent crime drama series is returning to Netflix again with its second season, this season will focus on a fresh case from the Delhi Crime Scene. The cast of the show remains the same with Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora

3. Bridgerton Season 3 

Bridgerton became a surprise hit at the end of 2020 and the 19th-century historical very adult, romantic drama returned for a second season early in 2022 which the fans have already showered with love.

A third season for the series is already in the works however no date is set and it is likely to diverge from the third novel in the book series. Deadline reports that the third season will focus on the characters of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.

4. The Sandman 

The long-awaited live-action adaptation of the DC Comics gets a modern-day fantasy series which is created by Neil Gaiman. It shows how a cult group managed to trap Dream, one of the legendary members of the Endless.

One of the first of its trailers released recently shows that the series will be very much based on comics and will remain faithful to its source material. It is one of the most anticipated upcoming shows and we can’t wait to watch it when it drops on Netflix on August 5. 

5. The Witcher Season 3 

The Witcher Season 2 recently made its debut on Netflix and once again became a major hit in a short period for the streaming device.

Netflix has already confirmed that there is going to be a third season of the mature-themed fantasy series. However, no release date has been finalised yet.

  • That ’90s Show – This sequel to the classic That ’80s Show sitcom will bring back Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp as Red and Kitty Foreman. The show is set in 1995 and will feature a new set of teenagers, including Red and Kitty’s granddaughter.
  • Uncoupled– This series features one of the most loved actors Neil Patrick Harris is known for his role in “How I Met Your Mother”. He is now back with a romantic TV series. 
  • Grendel – The series will adapt the comic books from writer-artist Matt Wagner, about Hunter Rose, a masked assassin that takes on New York City’s underworld.
