Predicted Tottenham Hotspur XI to face Ludogorets in the Europa League

Tottenham take on Ludogorets in their third game of the group stage of the Europa League. Spurs are coming on the back of some good form in the league but encountered an unexpected loss in their last European outing versus Royal Antwerp.

Ludogorets are in a bit of a topsy turvy form with wins in the league but they failed to win both of their European games so far. Spurs are expected to edge this one out.

Team News

Only Japhet Tanganga remains out with injury. Other than that, Mourinho will have all of his options. Changes can be expected though, with some of the regular starters coming back to the fold after what happened last week.

Probable Tottenham XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Joe Hart (GK)

Might be given the chance to feature in this game given the opposition.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Alderweireld will have to start his one as Ben Davies’ howler directly contributed to Spurs’ loss.

Eric Dier (CB)

Rested for the last European outing. Is expected to return to his duties for this one.

Matt Doherty (RB)

Not the best of games for the new recruit but with Aurier not looking all that great either, Doherty will likely continue at right-back.

Sergio Reguilon (LB)

Should keep his place as he has cemented his grip on the position.

Moussa Sissoko (DM)

Likely to replace Winks who offered next to nothing. The Frenchman comes with bags of energy and his running will be of vital importance.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (DM)

The former Southampton man does not look one bit tired after so many games and is expected to line up once again.

Tanguy Ndombele (CAM)

Another player who was sent on at half-time to change the course of the match. Should end up starting this one though.

Gareth Bale (RW)

Bale has finally scored the first goal of his second Tottenham spell and will be more confident for this game.

Heung-Min Son (LW)

The prolific South Korean is expected to be back as a part of Mourinho’s wholesale changes from the last European game.

Harry Kane (ST)

While Carlos Vinicius didn’t do much wrong, he didn’t contribute much either. Spurs’ talismanic striker will be raring to go again after another goal in the league.
