Glasspool and Heliovaara began their campaign with a solid win in straight sets 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) against the third-seeded team of Jean-Julien Rojer and Marcelo Arevalo. In their second match, the veterans Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury outclassed Glasspool and Heliovaara. The second-seeded team won the match 7-5, 6-4. Heliovaara and Glasspool had to win their final group-stage encounter against Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.
