Astria Ascending is a turn based role playing game with some vibrant visuals and an exciting plotline. Here is everything that you need to know about the game.

Astria Ascending is a classic turn based JRPG inspired by some of the JRPG games. The game is developed by the French Canadian Indie game developer, Artisan Studios. One interesting thing about Artisan Studios is that some of the Final Fantasy veteran developers have also contributed to the development of the game. Their credits also include games like NieR Automata and Bravely Default. Players can experience the game with some new visual artstyle and a new plotline.

Astria Ascending Release Date

The game has been in development for quite some time now. It will be officially released worldwide on 30 September 2021. You can pre-order the game right now for Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles, PlayStation consoles and PC.

Astria Ascending will be released on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. Players should note that while the game is available on Steam, you will require a controller to play the game. The game does not support keyboard and mouse gameplay.

Astria Ascending Gameplay

Astria Ascending has been heavily inspired by the Final Fantasy games and the gameplay reflects that. Although the game is developed by a western studio it does have Japanese and English voice over it feels like a classic JRPG game. Players can explore the beautiful world of Orcanon to save the dying heroes of the land. Players can visit five different cities that are populated by unique creatures and solve more than 20 dangerous dungeons.

Astria promises over 50 hours of gameplay along with some fun mini games like shoot ‘em ups, an original fantasy-themed card game, and challenging environmental puzzles. The game has an immersive plot filled with betrayal, sacrifice and terrors. Players will be able to fight over 200 different monsters in the classic turn based combat system. You will also be able to collect and summon some legendary beasts to join your fight. 

Astria Ascending will be released worldwide on 30 September on Nintendo Switch and Steam.
