Amanda Ribas made her MMA debut on the 15th of March, 2014 at Pentagon Combat 19. She took on Jessica Almeida and earned a TKO win in just 42 seconds.

Against Tania Pereda, Ribas won the Jungle Fight Strawweight Championship. However, she lost her title in the very next match, against Polyana Viana.

Following a title victory at Max Fight 18, against Jenifer Gonzalez Araneda, she was close to making her UFC debut.

But, a two-year suspension due to a positive test for Ostarine, put her career in jeopardy.

Her ban was lifted on the 3rd of May, 2019. Ribas made her UFC debut on the 29th of June, 2019 against Emily Whitmire at UFC on ESPN: Ngannou vs dos Santos. Ribas earned a second-round submission win.

She then beat Mackenzie Dern via. unanimous decision and followed it up with two successive wins over Randa Markos and Paige VanZant.

At UFC 257, Marina Rodriguez became the first woman in the UFC to beat Ribas. Rodriguez earned a second-round TKO win. Her last fight was a victory against Viviane Araujo via unanimous decision at UFC 285.
