Last season There were chrome chests in the Fractured event. The oathbound chests are differently-looking white treasure chests. The difference between the regular chests and Oathbound chests is that you can find rare items in this chest than the regular ones. In an Oathbound chest, you are guaranteed to get more items and a random weapon unlike the regular one.

So let’s see where to look for these Oathbound chests in Fortnite.

All Oathbound Chest Locations

These are all the places where you can find the oathbound chest in Fortnite.

The large white chests will spawn marked in yellow/orange landscapes on the map. These chests have a lot of loot to offer like the new Shortwave Hammer, the Ex-Caliber rifle, and many other useful items.

The Citadel

The citadel has 4 oathbound chest that spawns.

  • The first chest can be found by breaking a floor on the steps to the castle. Upon breaking the floor you can jump down and open the chest.
  • The second chest will spawn to the right in the throne room. You have to enter the front of the castle to get to it.
  • The third chest location is in the middle of the double-sided staircase located at the back of the castle.
  • The last chest in the citadel is on the top floor of the castle. You can enter the room by landing on the roof of the castle, And the oathbound chest can be found behind the large stone statue.

The oathbound chest can be found in the North building in Anvil Square. The chest is present on the left side of the building. You have to go to the 2nd floor and look for the bookshelf. After you find the bookshelf break it and the chest will be hidden behind it.

There is an oathbound chest to the East of shattered slabs. The chest can be found in the Shattered Slabs area and Frenzy Fields area.

There are 2 oathbound chests close to each other in faulty splits.

  • The first chest can be found in the Southern building. You can land here directly on the roof and break it with your harvesting tool to get the chest as soon as you land.
  • The second Oathbound chest can be found in the attic of the next building to the west in Faulty Splits.
