Alexa Bliss tormented – Blowout moments and gifs from WWE (27 July – 2 August)

Alexa Bliss did not have the best of weeks on WWE

Kairi Sane leaving WWE might have been the biggest story of this week but that was before Alexa Bliss stole the show thanks to someone else.

WWE seems to be preparing hard for SummerSlam and there were some incredible moments from the past week.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross
Nikki Cross hit out at Alexa Bliss on SmackDown (WWE)

We start off with Raw and Dominik Mysterio going crazy as he seeks vengeance.

1) Dominik cuts loose

Seth Rollins and Murphy came out to ask Dominik to join them. However, the younger Mysterio had other plans as he took out his rivals with a kendo stick.

Dominik has been a target of Rollins for a while and it was certainly great to see the youngster get some payback after what happened to his father.

Rollins also shared some images of the injuries sustained by him from this beating, but was it for the greatest good?

2) The send off

Sane leaving WWE was one of the more emotional stories to come out in recent months. The Japanese star’s last TV appearance for WWE was on Monday and she was attacked by Bayley in her send off, of sorts.

The major story here was Asuka losing the title, but that was a secondary angle. Most of the WWE came out and thanked Sane for all the time she put in her WWE career. Hopefully, we do get to see more of her, even if she has returned to Japan.

3) The Era takes control

The Undisputed Era sent a big message on NXT as they attacked the tag champions. The Era had lost their way, and titles, in recent months and this was a reminder of what strength in numbers can do.

Imperium vs Era should be an exciting bout, and hopefully, Adam Cole and co get some wins in. The Era have looked out of sorts since losing all their gold, but a good rivalry against Imperium should see the best out of them.

4) Lumis’ time to shine

Dexter Lumis making it to the Ladder Match for the vacant NXT North American title seems to be a huge deal.

He defeated Timothy Thatcher and Finn Balor to reach the match, which says a lot.

WWE might be pushing him forward more. Lumis is an intriguing character that doesn’t talk at all. However, that might change with gold around his waist.

5) Shorty G a mercenary?

Baron Corbin had put out a bounty on Matt Riddle’s head and he got someone to take the Bro out.

However, instead of a regular heel it was Shorty G coming out and pulling off an incredible rolling German suplex.

G hasn’t been on TV a lot but it was great to see the former American Alpha team member get a new role.

G as a heel certainly is interesting, and hopefully, this wasn’t a one-off moment for him.

6) Cutting her short

Sonya Deville was back at her best as she attacked Mandy Rose and cut her hair off. While Rose losing it completely after the attack might have been a bit too much, it was Deville who stole the segment.

The Pride Fighter has been wonderful ever since she broke up with Rose, and this was another standout moment.

Hopefully, WWE can push her into something better once this Rose angle is done.

7) He’s here

As alluded earlier, Bliss might have closed the show on SmackDown but WWE hit the ball out of the park by bringing in The Fiend.

Bliss looked genuinely scared as The Fiend terrorised her, and latched on the Mandible Claw.

Bliss was already a mess after Nikki Cross pushed her away as she lost to Bayley. It will be interesting to see what happens next with Bliss, especially with Sister Abigail also taking her form at Extreme Rules.
