Alain Prost Net Worth
Being one of the most successful Formula One drivers in history it is not a surprise that Prost has a net worth of roughly $100 million. His salary however from his racing days has not been revealed.
In 2013 He joined Renault’s Formula E team as well which would’ve helped him to add to his net worth.
Alain Prost Career
Prost made his Formula One debut with McClaren in 1980. In his debut race itself Prost showed his potential and came in sixth place. Prost finished 15th in his debut season. Towards the end of the season Prost had several accidents and he felt like the team blamed him for it. In 1981 he decided to leave McLaren and join Renault.
Prost’s second season was a memorable one. He finished 5th in the Driver’s Championship in his first season with Renault. Prost improved in the next year and went on to finish 4th in the Driver’s Championship in !982.
In 1983, The season gave equal highs as lows for the French driver. He gave his best ever finish and ended at 2nd position in the Driver’s Championship. However, he made some remarks on the car not being competitive and was fired by Renault.
In 1984 Prost went on to join McLaren again. He finished 2nd again at the end of the season behind his teammate Niki Lauda. 1985 marked the best season yet for Prost as he won the Driver’s Championship. He retained the title in 1986. In his final season at McLaren Prost won the Championship again in 1989.
Prost went on to join Ferrari for two seasons in 1990 and Joined Williams in 1993 to win his fourth Driver’s Championship.
Alain Prost Personal Life
Prost was born 24th February 1955 to Marie Rose and Andre Prost. Prost got married to Anne Marie in 1980. A year later they had their first son Nicolas Prost on 18 August 1981. Their second son Sacha Prost was born on 30th May 1990. The couple got divorced later. Prost was also in a relationship with a woman named Bernadette Cottin, they had a daughter together named Victoria.
