Chris Jericho takes a dig on an old picture
A fan had recently posted a picture on Twitter from the first season of NXT where Regal, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Christian Cage, and Matt Hardy were the pros. They were mentoring the rookies, the likes of Wade Barrett, and Bryan Danielson.
Jericho has always been someone who hasn’t shied away from expressing his feelings to the world.
Jericho would react to the photo via his Twitter handle saying: “We are all much happier now…. @allelitewrestling”
All the superstars were looking a tad angry in the picture. The fan said that last week’s AEW show must have made them more cheerful.
Another fan would point out that the five wrestlers were sitting in the picture in chronological order of how they debuted in AEW.
Jericho was the first one to make the switch to AEW followed by Hardy, Christian, Punk, and Regal. This was the order they were sitting in. This was purely coincidental though and everyone saw the funny side of it.
The Miz was sitting beside Regal. The A-lister hasn’t made the switch to AEW. He is on the WrestleMania 38 card as he is set to team up with Logan Paul to take on the team of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Matt Cardona who is a star on IMPACT reacted to the meme on The Miz.
AEW has recruited some of the big names in the wrestling landscape. Many of them have been monumental figures in WWE.
After William Regal made his AEW debut at Revolution the Twitter world has been buzzing in excitement.
Regal has one of the best tactical acumen coupled with truckloads of experience as far as professional wrestling is concerned. He was the General Manager of NXT and mentored several superstars in his time in WWE.
Regal’s acquisition is certainly a big plus for AEW as his knowledge of the business can help the company prosper at a greater rate.
