AEW announce the creation of TBS Championship
The TBS Championship is set to be introduced by AEW and Tay Conti has her eyes set on it. Conti took to Twitter after AEW announced the creation of the TBS title and this is what she had to say:
“TBS championship hummmm .. I think I’ll look great in gold”
The former AEW Women’s title contender is certainly excited for the belt to be introduced. Conti further went on to say:
TayBS championship sounds good to me ! #TayBS #ChampTayTay
Conti went ahead and further added a touch of her name to the title calling it “TayBS” Championship. It certainly sounds cool and the wrestler has set her ambitions high already. It wont be a surprise if Conti starts calling TBS , TayBS Championship if and when she wins in the future.
What is the TBS Championship?
AEW has just announced the creation of the TBS Championship for the AEW Women’s division. The belt will mark AEW Dynamite’s move to TBS network. The TNT title was introduced when AEW Rampage moved to TNT network. TBS title is following the same path.
It has also been confirmed that a tournament will be held to crown it’s first champion when Dynamite moves to TBS on January 5th. A similar tournament was held for the TNT belt as well when Cody Rhodes came out on top.
Further details on the title and the participants in the tournament have not been revealed by AEW as of yet. The title won’t be used until January 5th but when it is, TBS title will be a great addition to AEW Dynamite.
