The other good news that the 41-year-old legendary wrestler gave is that he is alright and will come back to the ring soon.

Who could be the wrestler replacing Bryan Danielson at Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts?

Fans gave their opinions on Twitter and some interesting names did come out. The most important thing to note is that Bryan Danielson has mentioned that the wrestler will be technically sound.

Cesaro
Cesaro was a former WWE United States Champion (WWE)

The two most likely candidates are Cesaro and Johnny Gargano. Both men have been linked to AEW for several weeks now.

Cesaro is an established wrestler and had won quite a few titles during his 11-year tenure in WWE. However, the Stamford-based company could never give him the push he deserved. The 41-year-old left WWE on February 24, 2022, after his contract expired.

As for Johnny Gargano, wrestled in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, and had some great feuds. He is a former NXT Champion and a three-time NXT North American Champion. He had also won the NXT Tag Team Championship on one occasion with Ciampa.

Both these athletes are technically solid. They could be a great addition to the AEW roster as they bring a lot to the table. We will have to wait a little longer to find out who replaces Danielson at the AEW x NJPW events.
