Renee Paquette reacts as Jon Moxley make his way to the ring after a long hiatus
Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley returned to AEW Dynamite on the January 19 episode and delivered an epic in-ring promo. The long-awaited return was well received and he even got massive applause as he did the promo.
Moxley talked about being haunted by demons and carrying scars that actually made him who he is today. He thanked his fans for their support, and the segment ended with Moxley smashing the mic on the mat and grabbing his jacket before walking back through the crowd.
His wife, Rene Paquette, was the first to inform Tony about Moxley’s alcohol rehab treatment program 3 months ago. She was pretty ecstatic about her husband’s return, and she supported him throughout. Her Twitter reactions show that,
“Could I love this guy any more?!”

This may have been the most challenging phase of his life and career, as this was the fight against himself. However, Mox has gone over his issues and made a fantastic return to AEW Dynamite this week.
Social media went crazy, showing support and joy for the former AEW World Champion. His wife Renee Paquette was overwhelmed by seeing him return to the squared circle. From wrestlers to fans, a legion of members of the wrestling community was chuffed.
The former World Champion’s in-ring return will happen outside AEW. Moxley will face former IMPACT Tag Team Champion Homicide at “The WRLD on GCW” event in the Hammerstein Ballroom on January 23.
