Matt Sydal is looking forward to beating CM Punk on Rampage

Earlier this week, CM Punk vs Matt Sydal’s match on AEW Rampage was announced by Tony Khan. Punk will step in the ring against his toughest challenge yet in the AEW. Sydal is seemingly confident of finally putting Punk’s undefeated streak in AEW to bin.

Sydal reacted to a Twitter post by AEW, the post asked whether Sydal will be able to beat Punk? He had a very interesting response to the question and said:

“Bet”

Sydal is most definitely Punk’s toughest challenge yet in the AEW. As mentioned in the tweet, he has 19 years of wrestling experience and 70% win rate in his matches. Punk has earlier defeated the likes of Darby Allin, Powerhouse Hobbs and Daniel Garcia in AEW.

This will be the Punk’s fourth match since his return to professional wrestling with AEW. Moreover, it promises to be match full of action.

Did CM Punk’s comeback lead to AJ Lee’s return to professional wrestling?

After Punk made his long awaited return to professional wrestling, his wife AJ Lee wasn’t too far behind herself. In fact she will be returning to wrestling as well. However, she won’t return as a wrestler. Lee has recently joined Women of Wrestling as a executive producer and color commentator.

Punk has since made it clear that his return had nothing to with Lee and it was just a happy coincidence. The couple are finally back to the wrestling world in one way or another after their long absence. For detailed coverage check out: CM Punk on whether his return led to AJ Lee’s comeback
