Current AEW superstar CM Punk took to Instagram and shared photos with his legendary rivals
CM Punk was recently spotted sharing a car ride with Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, and the AEW Women’s champion Britt Baker. Punk had shared a series of photos on his Instagram stories with several other AEW stars. He uploaded photos with the likes of Sting, Darby Allin, and AEW Champion Hangman Page.
Among all the photos, the one with his old foes and Britt Baker caught the eyes of the fans and went viral. The dentist who was barely visible in the photo later took to Twitter to respond to a post that had ignored her. The Twitter handle of Bleacher Report wrestling had uploaded their photo and hailed the three male superstars as GOATS.
The AEW Women’s Champion quickly responded by taking a dig at the social media handle. He retweeted the post and added another GOAT emoji, signifying she belongs in the same league as her male counterparts.
Britt Baker and CM Punk’s future
The 30-year old female wrestler is currently at the peak of her career. Her accomplishments last year have made her one of the most valuable assets of the company. Recently on Rasslin with Brandon Walker, she had stated that 2023 and 2024 would be “the year of Britt Baker.” She further stated that she had single-handedly built the entire women’s division.
CM Punk is also a huge fan of the female dentist cum wrestler and has expressed that she is one of the four pillars of the company. On the latest episode of Dynamite, Punk wore a four-pillar shirt where he replaced MJF’s face with that of Britt Baker.
Baker was seen sharing space with these legends in the viral photo but fans still need to wait for a long time now to witness all these legends share the same space on television and have their paths crossed.
