Chris Jericho slams Jake Paul after win over Ben Askren

Chris Jericho was not impressed with Jake Paul over his ‘fake’ victory against Ben Askren in his third professional boxing bout.

Jake Paul earned yet another knockout victory as he beat former UFC Fighter Ben Askren in the first round, under two minutes, to go 3-0 up in his professional boxing career.

Since the Problem Child was facing a combat sports athlete for the first time, people expected that the fight might go either way, but the YouTube star had other plans as he eased past Funky Ben.

There was a lot of controversy surrounding the fight however, as fight fans felt that the referee waved off the fight too early despite Askren getting back to his feet.

Hence, a legion of combat sports fans claimed that the fight was rigged, with some even going on to say that Askren was paid to get knocked out.

Amidst this, AEW superstar Chris Jericho made sure his opinion was known, as he congratulated ‘scam’ Jake Paul for a ‘bulls**t’ fake win.

Here is what Jericho had to say:

Jericho who had a feud with Mike Tyson in AEW, joined hands with the boxing legend this around, as Iron Mike made a return to AEW, last week. He walked out to save Jericho from Shawn Spears and his members (of the Pinnacle)).

Dillon Danis calls out Jake Paul

Paul’s never-ending rivalry with Bellator fighter Dillon Danis intensified a bit more after the former’s win over Askren. He took to Twitter to call out the former Disney star saying that it was time for him to knock Paul out cold.

He then followed it up with a tweet heroically claiming that he was going to save the MMA community (by beating Paul).

Love him or hate him, Jake Paul has taken up a risky sport, and is continuing to do wonders. And, going by the look of things, it will take only a proper professional boxer to beat the YouTube sensation.
