AEW star Abadon has fired back at the criticism of her wrestling gimmick

Abadon has arguably the most creepy and weird gimmicks in not only the AEW but the entire wrestling world. Her gimmick is that of a living dead girl who possesses a zombie character. Because of her edgy and creepy gimmick in the company, she has been on the receiving end of criticism for a while now.

Recently, Abadon decided to fire back at the critics on Twitter and said:

“I will NOT water myself down to make you more comfortable.”

Many have questioned her gimmicks and raised their voice over Abadon’s character being very edgy and uncomfortable especially for children. However, the AEW star has made it known that she will continue to stay true to her character regardless of what the people have to say.

What happened on AEW Rampage?

During this week’s AEW Rampage, Abadon was given the opportunity to face Britt Baker in a match for the AEW Women’s world championship. The match was a no-disqualification match and the wrestlers made the full use of it.

The match was truly brutal and both Abadon and Baker used whatever they can get their hands on in order to beat each other including thumbtacks. Towards he end of the match, Rebel and Jamie Hayter attacked Abadon which helped Baker to retain the title somehow.

Abadon had not been a regular feature on the main AEW shows, and she worked on her body in the meantime and lost a lot of weight. It can be expected that Abadon will start to regularly feature on the shows after her impressive performance against Baker.
