AEW Dynamite results, winners, grades and reaction: AEW Dynamite was held in an empty arena again, but there were some incredible matches on show this week.

The story prior to the show was about the TNT championship brackets being confirmed, and a big tag match was set up with four of the participants going off against each other.

There were some other big stories too and we started off with one of the biggest AEW stars taking to the ring.

Kenny Omega vs Trent

Kenny Omega came out and took on Trent, who was accompanied by Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor.

This was a great match to start off AEW with some hard-hitting from both. Trent also had some close calls in trying to pin Omega, but it was Omega that picked up the win with an impressive flurry of moves towards the end of the match.

Grade B

A solid way to start off Dynamite with Omega and Trent putting on a great display. The match was physical and there was a lot of aggression between the pair. At the end, both shook hands as a mark of respect and it will be interesting to see if this feud continues.

Shida in action

Anna Jayy was the target for the no.1 contender for the women’s title, Hikaru Shida.

Shida was excellent in this outing and she destroyed her opponent. There was a heated moment outside the ring where Shida and Britt Baker also coming to blows.

However, the No.1 contender picked up the win over Jayy and Baker trash talked after the match got done.

Grade B

Nyla Rose is a behemoth in the ring and AEW has to show Shida is a rival who can also destroy opponents with ease.

It was great that she picked up a quick win, and Baker did a great job by being a heel.

Hager vs Moxley confirmed

Two weeks from now, Jake Hager will take on Jon Moxley and will hope to win the AEW championship.

Moxley also spoke about not liking that he has a target on his back, and the match will be a No DQ clash.

Grade B

This was another solid promo by AEW and it will be interesting to see how the match goes. The rest of the Inner Circle will have a part to play in it, but will Moxley have an ace up his sleeve?

Archer makes his debut

Lance Archer finally made his in-ring debut after Jake Roberts revealed him to be his client.

Archer faced Marko Stunt and it was the debutant that destroyed his rival. He even chokeslammed Stunt after the match into Orange Cassidy and the Gunn Club.

Grade A

This is exactly the kind of debut Archer needed. He looked like a monster, defeated a rival with ease. Archer will face Rhodes at some point in his AEW career, and he would be a great rival for the American Nightmare.

More Dark Order members

Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall teamed up to face #8 and #9 of the Dark Order. While the Dark Order has finally been graced by Brodie Lee, the Exalted One, they couldn’t get the win in this clash.

Rhodes and Marshall worked brilliantly to pick up the win, and Lee came out after that.

The Exalted One wasn’t pleased with the result and powerbombed #8 before staring at #9 for the loss.

Grade A

While the result wasn’t all that important, it was after the loss that got the highest marks.

Lee came out and attacked his own members, highlighting that they all need to perform of face the consequences.

Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara vs Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin

Spears takes on Rhodes while Guevara takes on Allin in the first round of the TNT championship, but they were split into teams this time around.

This was another fun match with Spears showing what he is capable of in the ring. Allin and Guevara are two of the rising stars on AEW, and they also put on a show.

Things got interesting in the end as Spears hit Rhodes with a splash. He then went out to get a steel chair but Allin made the save.

However, Allin was rolled up and pinned by Spears. Allin then smacked Rhodes at the end of it all as a sign of frustration.

Grade B

The match was fun, as expected, with some of the best stars on AEW giving it their all. The end of the match was interesting given how Allin has been projected as a face and he smacked Cody before the show faded away.

That could be another rivalry in the making, and it will be interesting to see what happens next with the pair.
