The developers of every game have followed the same path for releasing a new game. They release a teaser, then a trailer is released.
The trailer is followed by a gameplay trailer and few details about the game. And after all this, we finally get the game. Blue Box Game Studios is trying a new way to release the teaser and maybe change the system of how games are released.
Abandoned PS5 release date
Abandoned is a survival horror game that will be exclusively released on the PlayStation 5. Blue Box Game Studios released a teaser for the game in April 2021.
Since then, there has been quite a buzz around this upcoming game. The developers also announced a new concept that will replace the traditional trailer which features game footage that gives the idea for the story but not how the actual game will be. They have come up with a new idea that will use the hardware of the PlayStation 5 and give a realistic experience of how the game will be.
The Realtime Experience
Blue Box Game Studios has released an app for the PlayStation 5. This app will utilise the system hardware, enabling players to understand how the game will look and function on their console. The app is called The Realtime Experience App. It is free to download on the PlayStation 5. This is a first-of-its-kind app that will show what the game looks like running on actual PS5 hardware. The app will have the full details on August 10th. It was announced on the official Blue Box Games Studios Twitter account.
Silent Hill Rumours
Some rumours were floating around the internet that this new game will be Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hill. Kojima has previously used such marketing strategies for his games. Hideo Kojima is the creator behind some of the best games like the Metal Gear Solid franchise and Death Standing. Blue Box Games Studio has clarified that the new game has no connection to any of the new Hideo Kojima projects.
Abandoned is an exciting survival horror game that will release in Q4 of 2021. The Realtime Experience app will show what the game looks like running on actual PS5 hardware.
