Esteban Ocon’s maiden Grand Prix win

Esteban Ocon emerged victorious out of the odds at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Ocon started the race from P8 and as the race went on, it was clear that the racing gods were with the young racer. His grit to fight through the ranks from P8 and also finish the race in pole position was a true masterclass.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen crash at Silverstone

By the time the 2021 F1 season reached the British GP, it was clear that Mercedes were going to have a tough battle this season. The first glimpse of what was yet to come was shown at Silverstone. Lewis Hamilton’s car touched the tire of Max Verstappen’s car and the Reb Bull went off track to suffer a massive crash. The race was immediately stopped and the red flag was brought out. Hamilton was handed a 10-second penalty. And the red flag gave enough time for him to get his car repaired. He suffered minimal damages as compared to Verstappen.

Daniel Ricciardo wins at Monza

Daniel Ricciardo won his first ever Grand Prix in 3 years at Monza. Although Ricciardo’s fortunes were favored by the crash between Hamilton and Verstappen, nobody can deny the fact that it was truly an incredible performance by Ricciardo who was hunting his first win since leaving Red Bull F1.

Lewis Hamilton’s Brazil fightback

Hamilton truly showed how he is a step above everyone else in Formula One currently at the Brazilian GP. The Brit started the sprint race from the bottom of the grid and finished 5th. Come race day, he started from 10th position because of being handed a 5 place penalty. As the championship battle was going out of hand, Hamilton produced one of the best drives of his career. Hamilton went on to win the Brazilian GP with a fanciful drive and also kept his title hopes alive.

Abu Dhabi GP last lap drama

Well it is not truly a ‘best moment’ for everyone, however, it was the most crucial thing that happened in the season. The Brit was dominating the Abu Dhabi GP for the majority part of the race. if Nicholas Latifi didn’t crash, we would have a different winner. Whatever the outcome was, nobody can deny the fact that there wouldn’t have been a better finish to the race or the season than this.
