Vicente Luque is one of the wildcards in the UFC welterweight division and here is his net worth and a lot more
|Net Worth (2021)||$2million|
|Last fight earnings||$10,000|
|Date of Birth||November 27, 1991|
Vicente Luque is one of those fighters that has been silently doing his job in the promotion without ever attracting too much spotlight. He currently fights in the welterweight division.
Luque, whose nickname is ‘The Silent Assassin’, already has 20 professional MMA wins by the age of 29. He fought twice in 2020 and his first fight of this year comes on 27th March, 2021.
He is currently in the best form of his career. Luque has lost just once in his last 9 fights and that was against Stephen Thompson at UFC 244.
Luque has already amassed an impressive $2million net worth. This is, of course, almost entirely due to his career inside the UFC octagon.
He’s not earning as much as the Kamaru Usmans and the Jorge Masvidals of the division, but if you’re on the main card, are fighting inside the UFC octagon, and most importantly, stacking up wins, you know your pockets will get heavy with time.
He earned over $107,000 for winning his last fight, which came against Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 173. This includes the winning prize money, the amount he gets just for showing up, and Performance of the Night bonus.
The Brazilian-born American has a very impressive professional MMA record of 20-7-1, and his UFC record stands at 15-2-0 (excluding TUF).
These stats include some notable wins such as against Belal Muhammad at UFC 205 and a 1st round KO win over Jalin Turner at UFC 229.
He is currently on a two-fight winning streak since his loss to ‘Wonderboy’. And that match was itself earned by Luque going on a 6-match winning streak since losing to Leon Edwards in March 2017.
Luque is one of the most intriguing fighters to watch inside the octagon. And unsurprisingly, he has won the Fight of the Night, and Performance of the Night three times each.
Vicente Luque is married to his wife, Carolina Silveira. The two tied the knot in 2019 and they are reportedly expecting a child, a boy, later this year.
There doesn’t seem to be much else about his family but he does a bunch of photos with his wife on his Instagram account.
While Luque might be endorsed by a few brands, there is no clear indication of the who all back him.
This information will be updated once there is more clarity on Luque’s endorsers.
Luque last fought Randy Brown and won impressively with a round 2 KO and took home the Performance of the Night bonus.
He is now looking to continue that winning run against the #7 ranked UFC welterweight in the world, Tyron Woodley, at UFC 260.
Luque, who is himself #10 in the rankings, can break into the single-digit rankings with a win over the American who is on a 3-fight losing streak. He might be the former champion at 170 lbs. but it seems as if the 38-year-old is running on fumes now.
He defeated Woodley with an incredible submission at UFC 260.
