Stipe Miocic is one of the greatest UFC heavyweights to step inside the octagon and here is his net worth and a lot more
|Net Worth (2021)||$4million|
|Last fight earnings||$790,000|
|Date of Birth||August 19, 1982|
The American MMA fighter has not really fought a lot, with just four fights since June 2017. And he took on Francis Ngannou at UFC 260.
Miocic lost, won, and then defended his heavyweight belt against Daniel Cormier in what is termed as the greatest trilogy of fights ever. These were also his last three fights, with the one before these coming against his opponent at UFC 260.
Stipe Miocic has a net worth of approximately $4million which has come largely due to his career inside the UFC cage.
Miocic has reportedly earned around $5.27million during his fighting career, with over $4million in total coming as payouts in his last 6 fights combined.
His last fight, which was against DC at UFC 252, saw him earn a massive $790,000. This includes money to show up, sponsorships, and fight week incentive.
Miocic has a very impressive professional record of 20-4-0 while his UFC record is 14-4-0 since his debut in the promotion a decade back against Joey Beltran at UFC 136.
His losses have come up against some of the biggest names in the sport. Miocic succumbed to Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 when he lost his heavyweight belt.
Before that, he lost to Junior dos Santos and Stefan Struve. Miocic went on to have his revenge against dos Santos, whom he beat at UFC 211, and Cormier, who lost to him at UFC 241 and UFC 252.
He has won 6 title fights in the UFC and would be looking to stretch that number up to 7 come UFC 260.
The part-time firefighter and paramedic married his wife, Ryan Marie Carney, in 2016 and the couple have a daughter, Meelah Claire Miocic.
Stipe is the son of Kathy and Bojan Miocic. The heavyweight champion is of Croatian descent and while he understands the Croatian language, he is not fluent in it yet.
He plans to become a full-time firefighter once his MMA career. He says that this is a way for him to fall back on something once he stops being active inside the octagon.
Miocic’s next fight is a massive one as he looks to defend his belt for the second time in a row. He faced Francis Ngannou for the UFC heavyweight championship at UFC 260.
The main event, which took place on 27th March, 2021, is a rematch of their earlier bout at UFC 220.
Miocic, of course, won back then but the fight went the full 5 rounds. And with Ngannou training with Teddy Atlas and having Kamaru Usman help him work on his wrestling, the rematch might just be more evenly match than people think so.
This is the first time that Miocic will face an opponent other than Daniel Cormier since January 20, 2018. And that opponent was the Cameroonian Ngannou himself.
However, things didn’t go in Miocic’s favour. He was knocked out by Ngannou in the second round and lost his belt.
