Bully Ray has a special opponent in mind for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania next year
However, he says that it should be saved for the WrestleMania event next year. Ray wants Reigns to hold the WWE Universal championship for at least one more year.
“Brock and Roman at this year’s WrestleMania would be entirely too soon. You leave that championship on Roman Reigns, I’d leave it on him for a full year, and go all the way to next year’s WrestleMania, and then next year at the Royal Rumble, here comes the Beast.”
Lesnar, for his part, hasn’t been seen much since losing to Drew McIntyre. There were some questions about his contract in WWE but The Beast hasn’t popped up on any other promotion or headed off to an MMA company either.
Who could be the opponent for Roman Reigns at this year’s WrestleMania?
What Ray said sounds perfect for WrestleMania 38. But that still leaves us wondering who ‘The Tribal Chief’ could facing at this year’s WrestleMania.
Reigns is quite arguably the face of the promotion and will obviously be made to defend his WWE Universal championship at the grandest wrestling stage of them all.
That is, of course, if he manages to hold on to it until then. Even otherwise, you would think that Reigns would feature at WrestleMania 37.
In light of that, the most obvious opponent for him right seems to be Royal Rumble 2021 winner Edge. Apart from that, he could also extend his rivalry with KO, or enter into a feud with Big-E.
