WWE Backstage will return to the Fox Sports network by the end of this month
WWE Backstage is a wrestling show that first aired on Fox Sports 1 in November 2019. The show discussed all the latest happenings in wrestling and was hosted by Renee Paquette (AKA Renee Young) and Booker T.
However, the shooting for the show was halted in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A few months later, FS1 announced that the show was not going to air for the foreseeable future.
Nevertheless, Paquette announced this week that the show will make a return. And the fans will not even have to wait too long for it.
Paquette, who announced that she was pregnant last year, shared the news via video on the WWEonFox Twitter account.
She looked overjoyed at the news and announced that the show will be back just in time for the year’s first WWE PPV.
“It will air on the eve of the Royal Rumble. I get to see my girl Paige, I get to see my dude Booker.”
Paige was a regular contributor to the show and Paquette stated that she will also be joining the show this month. Paige herself shared a video promoting the show’s return.
Replying to her friend’s tweet, Paquette said that she wanted to be keyed as ‘Knocked up Renee’ for the show, a moniker given to her by Paige herself.
