Kayla Braxton not pleased with fans making Covid-19 jokes on Twitter
Then, she tested positive again in June, after which she tweeted to spread awareness about the fact that people can get it twice.
Braxton took to Twitter on Monday to reveal her frustration with online trolls that make fun of the virus. She revealed that she got a call at work to tell her that she lost someone close due to Covid-19.
The virus halted the entire globe when it first made it’s appearance around the start of 2020. WWE, like any other business, too felt the financial strain of the pandemic, but continued to soldier on without fans in the arena.
Kayla Braxton unhappy with trolls making inappropriate Covid-19 jokes
This has truly been a tough time for everyone around the globe, even more so for people have lost their loved ones due to the virus.
It is, thus, understandable why Braxton lost her cool when she saw people joking about her getting the disease. She lashed out at them on Twitter and put out this following message:
“While I was at work tonight, I got a call that someone very close to me died of covid. And as I logged on to this platform tonight, I noticed multiple disgusting tweets tagging me to make jokes about me when I had the virus early this year. FU*K you.”
Earlier this week, Drew McIntyre confirmed that he had contracted the virus. A lot of WWE stars have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 12 months.
However, he accepted Goldberg’s challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship and the match looks like it will still go ahead at Royal Rumble 2021, which is scheduled to take place on January 31st.
