A rematch that all MMA fans cannot wait to see is Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier. This fight will take place at UFC 257 on 23 January, 2021 and has many excited.

Poirier and McGregor are still two of the biggest names in the business, despite meeting at UFC 178 in 2014.

It was McGregor who came out on top in that one but the weight class is a little different this time around.

There is also the fact that the winner of this clash could end up fighting for the Lightweight Championship, and this adds more pressure on both stars.

McGregor and Poirier have held the belt in the past but this is expected to be one of the biggest events of the year.

The Irishman hasn’t said much leading up to the fight but recently posted a small line on what he wants to do in the clash:

Fans ready for the Conor show

McGregor is known to be a real talker ahead of his fights and this could be one way to get the crowd going again.

The UFC world has been a little quiet during the New Year and Christmas holidays, but this one tweet has gotten a lot of fans fired up.

McGregor still remains one of the biggest names in the business despite not holding a title. His last fight was also almost a year back where he defeated Donald Cerrone.

The Irishman then retired from MMA only to make a quick return and it will be interesting to see how this fight goes.

Poirier also will be in good touch after a great win over Dan Hooker in his last fight. However, the fans seem to be on Team McGregor and here are some of their reactions.

Most of them believed that McGregor would get the win while some claimed that Poirier would be done in the first round:
