UFC 251 is done and dusted and the promotion is ready for the next big event. Dana White has seen the success of the event away from American shores as the UFC found a new home that many spoke about.

The UFC isn’t done with Fight Island yet as more fight cards are set up in the location. After UFC 251, Kattar vs Ige is the next event in Abu Dhabi and here are all the details from the clash.

Date and location

The next UFC event takes place at Fight Island which is located in Abu Dhabi. This is the second UFC event for this location and it will not feature any fans due to the coronavirus crisis.

Fighters will be tested before the fights and also quarantined before weigh-ins to ensure everyone remains safe.

UFC: Kattar vs Ige will take place on 15 July and the prelim card starts from 7 PM ET. The main card will start from 10 PM ET, even though it would be early morning in the UAE.

It is to note that while the fight is on Wednesday in the States, in other parts of the world it will be on Thursday morning.

ESPN is the outlet which will be showing this card and the streaming details can also be found on the channel.

BT Sport should be the outlet for UK fans while those in South Asia have Ten/Sony Sports to check up regarding their UFC action.

Timo Feucht and Kenneth Bergh were to fight at the event, however, Feucht was removed and Jorge Gonzalez is expected to face Bergh.
