Predicted Manchester United XI to face Brighton in the Premier League
Manchester United travel to AMEX Stadium to face Brighton in the Premier League as the race for European games gets hotter.
Ole Gunnar’s Solskjaer will be entering the game on the back of a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Norwich City to progress into the FA Cup semifinals. However, a win against the Seagulls would be worthy in their race to finish in the top four.
Brighton, on the other hand, haven’t been defeated in the last three league games and could also cause United troubles as they did in the previous encounter between the two sides.
The manager would be happy to see his men continuing without any issues despite the games coming thick and fast. There are no new injuries issues in the squad. However, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones will not be available for selection on Tuesday.
Predicted Man United XI
David De Gea (GK)
The Spaniard has saved United for the past 9 years. He is the first-choice shot-stopper and his form will be key in this fixture.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)
One of the hottest prospects, Wan-Bissaka has consistently delivered when it matters the most for United. After being rested in the FA Cup tie, he is likely to return to the squad.
Harry Maguire (CB)
The former Sheffield United youth product produced a match-winning performance in the last outing. He will be leading the team from the back.
Victor Lindelof (CB)
Lindelof has established himself at the back for United and is one of their best defenders. He should be partnering Maguire in the heart of the defence.
Luke Shaw (LB)
The English international has continued to improve his performance in recent months. However, his consistency has been a concern. But he should be given the nod ahead of emerging prospect Brandon Williams.
The Brazilian has been one of the best players in the squad this season. He should be partnering Paul Pogba in the middle of the park on Tuesday.
Paul Pogba (CM)
The World Cup winner’s return has been a massive boost to the squad. United will be counting on his experience and quality. He will be an undoubted starter.
Daniel James (RW)
The Welshman should be given the nod ahead of Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood. He is United’s leading assist-provider and should be able to do well against Brighton.
Bruno Fernandes (AM)
Fernandes has been a breath of fresh air in United’s attack. He has provided stability to the midfield and will be a key player for the remainder of the season as they hope to qualify for the Champions League.
Marcus Rashford (LW)
An inevitable presence in the Red Devils’ frontline, the 22-year-old needs to get back on the score sheet. He has racked up 14 goals so far and there is no doubt regarding his significance to the squad.
