Lewis Hamilton is currently undergoing self-quarantine in a bid to curb the spread of pandemic coronavirus
Lewis Hamilton lashed out at people who are not following social distancing via a statement on social media.
The British F1 driver is currently undergoing self-quarantine at their respective homes in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
With the whole world currently gripped in the virus fear, and many losing their life due to the recent outbreak, the actions of an ignorant few have saddened and angered the likes of Hamilton.
Hamilton did not hold back as he let the world know about his feelings by posting a message:

“There is nothing we can do about it either way except try to isolate ourselves, stop ourselves from catching it and spreading it. There are people out there still going to clubs and bars and large gatherings which I personally feel is totally irresponsible and selfish.”
Hamilton has been under self-isolation after Idris Elba and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau had tested positive. The champion had met both of them while attending an event in London earlier this month.
First seven races cancelled
The 2020 season of the F1 has undergone a major blow with the outbreak of the new Covid-19 virus. The first seven races have been postponed, including the Azerbaijan GP.
Meanwhile, F1 and governing body the FIA have said that they “expect to begin the 2020 championship season as soon as it is safe to do so after May”.
