South Africa pair Faf du Plessis and David Miller pulled off a fantastic catch to help their team to a win
South Africa came roaring back to win the second T20I against Australia, and they had Faf du Plessis and David Miller to thank for an incredible bit of fielding.
For a long time, it seemed that David Warner would take Australia to a win in the second T20I. However, the Aussies choked big-time in this game as the hosts pulled out a win from nowhere.
The momentum was slowly shifting in the second half of Australia’s innings. The runs were coming but the boundaries were drying out. Australia needed a few big blows towards the end of the game and Mitchell Marsh tried that in the 18th over.
It seemed that Aussie had hit maximum but Du Plessis had other ideas. The South African star somehow grabbed the ball before it crossed the ropes and flicked it back in.
Normally, the ball is tossed in the air but this was a low flick. However, Miller wasn’t going to let this chance slip away and dived to somehow catch the ball.

Quinton gets the job done
While Australia lost the match by 12 runs, they should have won this game. Warner was left not out on 67 but he just did not get enough of the strike.
The Aussie middle-order crumbled under pressure with three players going for a combined eight runs.
As for South Africa, They had Quinton de Kock to thank for the target of 159. The keeper made a brilliant 70 from 47 balls and was helped by Rassie van der Dussen, who made 37 from 26.
The series is evenly poised at 1-1 and there should be another nail-biting finish in the third and final T20I.
