Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been active on Instagram in recent weeks
Since retiring from international cricket and now serving as BCCI chief, Ganguly has become an avid user of the platform.
In one such instance, the former India captain recently posted a photo of himself alongside Dravid, recalling his iconic 1996 Test innings debut against England at the Lords.
However, Ganguly was at the receiving end of a hilarious comment, that too from none other than Yuvraj Singh, who made his debut under Ganguly.
Ganguly had posted the picture which brought back some nostalgic cricketing memories, with the caption: “Fanatastic memories”.
Also, it is worth mentioning that the photo Ganguly posted had the logo of stock-image supplier Getty Images, which prompted Yuvraj to take a subtle dig at his former captain.
His reply read: “Dada logo to hata lo! (Dada, remove the logo) Your BCCI President now. Please be professional”.
Sachin also comments
Meanwhile, the post also received another comment, this time from Ganguly’s long time opening partner and teammate Sachin Tendulkar.
Tendulkar, a legend of the game, was quick to praise the serving BCCI chief by commenting: “This reminds us of his great knock. Is there any other instance of Dada at Lords that one can think of?”
By commenting, Tendulkar also reminded everyone of another iconic moment of Ganguly at Lords.
While he did not mention it directly, it is easy to assume that he was referring to the iconic moment at Lords when India won the 2002 Natwest Series.
