Ravi Bishnoi was the pick of the bowlers for India in the U19 World Cup final against Bangladesh
India U19 starlet Ravi Bishnoi picked up four wickets in the recently concluded World Cup final against Bangladesh.
The youngster was the pick of the bowlers for the Indian colts but was unable to lead them to victory.
Bangladesh fought hard to bowl India out for just 177 and won the game by three wickets thanks to the D/L method.
Rain played a role in a tense final as Bangladesh started off well. They made 50 without a loss but it was the Bishnoi show after that.
The youngster picked up four quick wickets to put the Tigers in trouble, and there were several fans cheering them on.
There was also one special fan doing her bit, but not at the stadium. A recent video has surfaced where Bishnoi’s mother is seen cheering her son on as he celebrates taking a wicket.

The player’s mother also seems to be blessing him before cheering on his performance.
Bishnoi had a great U19 World Cup as he picked up several wickets in the tournament. India were the favourites to retain their crown, but things just weren’t meant to be.
Aggressive Bangladesh just about win it
The Tigers might have been underdogs but they were extremely aggressive from the first ball in the final.
They tried a lot of tricks to unsettle the Indian batters and it worked. However, India didn’t give up and made a real fight out of it.
There were some ugly scenes at the end of the game too with a scuffle between the two players.
Bangladesh, however, were deserving winners of the final thanks to some brilliant performances, but India unearthed several stars, such as Bishnoi for the future too.
Yashasvi Jaiswal also did his bit in the final, but his 88 wasn’t enough to help India to a huge score.
