Bangladesh, who got off to a good start seemed to be in a good position when Bishnoi entered. The spinner grabbed three quick wickets in succession to once gain bring India back into the game.

A fired-up Bishnoi, who had not forgotten the Bangladeshi player’s attitude towards them decided to give it back to them and the incident happened during his fourth over of the day when he dismissed Towhid Hridoy.

Bishnoi, who trapped Hridoy leg before wicket (lbw) with a belter of delivery did not hide his emotions as he looked at Hridoy and pointed towards the dressing room. He also blurted out a Hindi cuss word at the Bangladesh batsman which sounded like “Bhag, Ma******d”.

Meanwhile, social media handle Twitter was quick to react to Bishnoi’s on-field antics, a few of which can be seen below:

India lose by 3 wickets

Meanwhile, defending champions India suffered a major blow as they failed to retain their title, losing to neighbours Bangladesh by three wickets via the Duckworth-Lewis method.

It was Bangladesh’s first-ever World Cup win in the under-19 tournament. The young Tigers, who had earlier won the toss chose to field sending Indians to bat first.

However, except for opener Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored 88 off 121 deliveries the rest of the Indian batsmen faltered as they were bowled out for a mere 177 runs.
