Martin Guptill couldn’t help New Zealand to a win but had a viral moment with Yuzvendra Chahal
New Zealand star Martin Guptill sent the cricket world in a frenzy after his meeting with Yuzvendra Chahal after the second T20I.
The batsman made just 33 from 20 balls for the Kiwis but he was their joint top-scorer as the home side made just 132/5.
The Indian bowlers did a great job with Chahal being at his economical best. The spinner didn’t get a wicket, but he was given the chance to interview some players after the game.
Chahal has held segments and interviews in the past and got a chance to speak with Guptill.
The cameras were following Chahal and the microphone was on too as Guptill jokingly called him a popular Hindi slang “g****”.
The others around him started laughing out as Chahal tried to hold his composure and told Guptill that the microphone was live.

This was one of the funnier moments for the home side, but they need to buckle up ahead of the third T20I.
New Zealand face a tough task
The Kiwis seem to be struggling with the bat and ball, despite having a quality side.
Their batting was excellent in the first T20I but that failed this time around. Their bowling hasn’t been great either and the home side have to avoid defeat in the next game to keep the series alive.
India’s bowling was great in this game but their batting has been on another level. Iyer is enjoying his time in New Zealand while Rahul is also scoring runs for fun.
