Sourav Ganguly does not like to work on Sundays and Sana Ganguly wasn’t going to let her dad off the hook
Sana Ganguly and Sourav Ganguly have been in the news recently due to the Citizenship Amendment Act.
The daughter of the BCCI president seemed to be in solidarity with some of the student protesters who had been met with force by the Delhi police.
Sourav then claimed that Sana was too young to understand what was going on and should be left alone.
While that response from Sourav got a backlash from some quarters as Sana is 18 and is capable of voting in several elections, she did have time to poke fun at her father.
The BCCI president posted an image of him with the caption that he doesn’t like to work on Sundays.
Sana didn’t miss a beat and commented that she was taking it easy while her father was working hard.
This was a fun moment between father and daughter, especially given that Sourav has been busy in his new post.
Ganguly doing his bit for the BCCI
The new BCCI president already has done a lot since taking over the role. India held its first Pink ball Test against Bangladesh recently and easily won that tie.
Ganguly also confirmed that there will be a four-nation series featuring India, Australia and England in the near future.
The BCCI president will also decide which India players head off to play in the Asia XI vs World XI T20s later on in 2020.
Sourav is one of the greatest captains in the history of the game and was an excellent batsman too.
