Wolves vs Manchester United Ratings: Manchester United Player Ratings

Manchester United succumbed to yet another embarrassing defeat at the hands of Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves side, who ran riot on the United defence in the 2nd period with some excellent play.

Despite getting an early goal through unlikely source Scott McTominay, they conceded two goals over two half with a crucial Ashley Young red card sandwiched in between. With the 3rd place in the offing, United weren’t able to break Wolves down and the game ended 2-1.

Here’s the Manchester United Player Ratings:

David De Gea 6

The Spaniard did keep them in the game but wasn’t his usual secure self.

Ashley Young 3

United starting to look better on the ball once he got sent off.

Chris Smalling 5

Unfortunately scored Wolves’ 2nd goal but didn’t have a great game either.

Victor Lindelof 6

Best performer out of the defenders who all had forgettable evenings.

Luke Shaw 5

Was decent going forward but looked invisible in defence at times.

Paul Pogba 4

Had a poor evening, just drifted around and had no real impact.

Scott McTominay 6

Scored the opener and looked decent in possession whenever he got on it.

Fred 5

Substituted after the Young red card but never had any say in the game.

Diogo Dalot 6

Showed potential with his crosses but didn’t do enough on the night.

Romelu Lukaku 5

Showed extremely poor touches and wasted his chances.
